July 3 (Friday)-Decatur, TX
Day 2
Little campers were very happy to be at “ganma’s house” and hang out with their cousin from Nashville and their “popper”. Slept in until 9am lunched at the Armadillo Grill (used to be Buck’s BBQ and is turning into Bono’s Chophouse and Saloon), napped, read mindless paperback, headed to Fort Worth for a post wedding party at Joe T. Garcia’s (outside). Camp Daddy worked all day. Little campers ate doughnuts and “pigs in a blanket”, watched movies, jumped on the trampoline, didn’t nap but got to bed on time because their cousin gave orders and they followed.
July 4 (Saturday)-Decatur, TX
Day 3
Happy July 4th!
Breakfast at the local IHOP for 15 with great-grandparents and other family. July 4th party at friends house with swimming, fireworks and food. The Big Camper can now swim the length of the pool and the Little Camper had fun running around with his cousins and playing in the hot tub “bubbles!!!”.
