Day 4
Can one mural change a town?

We drove by the famous Prescott mural and drove around a town that had pockets of very pretty homes. In search of a park in which to picnic, Mama Camp found the “City Park” in Prescott walled by a 6ft fence and chained with a large lock and a sign that read: Open 8am-9pm. It looked like no one had cleaned up form the July 4th festivities. Darn. We prepared our picnic next to the wonderful mural by Jorge and Maria Botti-Villegas, drove through the restored MoPac train depot and ate on the road. A picnic area near the mural would make it a better destination spot.

Nearby Love’s: Packed with boaters returning home from the 4th of July holiday. Bathroom in need of attention and the checkout service was s-l-o-w.
